The IfA is currently coordinating a regional effort to focus on agroforestry, through an agroecological lens, including collaborators from University of Maine and Dartmouth College. We are starting to do research to identify and characterize agroforestry in Vermont, as well as supporting establishment of agroforestry systems within university farms and some farmer collaborators. For the latter we are hoping to support long-term monitoring and analyses using a participatory action research (PAR) approach.
