About the Agroforestry Regional Knowledge
Exchange Network
The Agroforestry Regional Knowledge Exchange Network (ARKx) is a peer-to-peer learning network where land managers/farmers, technical service providers, agricultural educators, business owners, non-governmental organizations and universities can generate and share knowledge with one another to help promote agroforestry throughout the United States.

The ARKx Network spans all United States, Districts and Territories. We seek to create a broad network starting with groups, demonstration sites and professionals that support regional agroforestry in their area, while reaching beyond to local farms and projects so that those who want to share or find agroforestry information can do so.
We seek to connect the following agroforestry stakeholders through this network:
-
Farmers and Demonstration Sites
-
Agroforestry Professionals
-
Technical Service Providers
-
Organizations
-
Speakers
-
Projects and Programs
-
Institutions and Universities
-
Coalitions
-
Grants and Funders
-
Planting Stock Providers
The ARK Exchange network was initiated and is supported by the Edwards Mother Earth Foundation Catalyzing Agroforestry Grant Program (CAGP). It is also supported by the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Program Professional Development Program Grant titled “Expanding the Agroforestry Regional Knowledge Exchange Network in Virginia”.
