SCD is actively involved in planning and implementing agroforestry practices on farms throughout Snohomish County and on Camano Island. We have implemented silvopasture, food forests, hedgerows, and harvestable riparian buffers, among other agroforestry practices. We are also involved in on-farm research related to agroforestry through a Western SARE project evaluating the impact of harvestable riparian buffers on water quality.
