We provide technical assistance and, in some cases, financial assistance to help landowners and land stewards in Mason County to reach their agroforestry goals. After a site assessment at the landowner's request, we can provide technical assistance on practices such as hedgerows, working buffers, silvopasture, and a range of other projects that integrate trees, crops, and livestock in diverse and creative systems that provide economic, cultural, social, and ecological benefits. There are many possibilities as for food and materials that can be cultivated by agroforestry systems. Mason Conservation District has been working collaboratively since 1956 to help landowners in Mason County responsibly and efficiently manage their land and associated natural resources.
