Keystone Tree Crops Cooperative (KTCC) is an agricultural cooperative incorporated in Pennsylvania that is building a tree-crop food supply chain in the Commonwealth and surrounding states. Our focus is on the aggregation, storage, processing, marketing, and sales of chestnuts, hickory nuts, hazelnuts, and value-added products made from them. Our flagship product is hickory nut oil from nuts gathered by local farmers – our producer members – and pressed by KTCC in Lancaster, PA, with our KernKraft oil press. Other planned products include raw hickory nuts, hickory milk, hazelnuts, and chestnuts, hazelnut oil, chestnut flour, black walnuts, and black walnut oil. KTCC is looking for new producer members who have hickory trees, chestnut trees, and hazelnut shrubs on their properties and want to gather and sell their tree nuts to the cooperative.
