Keystone Tree Crops Cooperative (KTCC) is an agricultural cooperative incorporated in Pennsylvania that is building a tree-crop food supply chain in the Commonwealth and surrounding states. Our flagship product is hickory nut oil from nuts gathered by local farmers – our producer members – and pressed by KTCC in Lancaster, PA, with our KernKraft oil press. The cooperative currently has 10 producer members, and is planning to rapidly expand membership in 2025. Other planned products include raw hickory nuts, hickory milk, hazelnuts, and chestnuts, hazelnut oil, chestnut flour, black walnuts, and black walnut oil. KTCC is mostly volunteer run, and has a small amount of grant support.
