Agroforestry Practices Supported

Dandelion Foodscapes is an agroecology design company that develops innovative solutions to advance rainwater conservation, food security, and climate resilience. Our work integrates temperate syntropic agroforestry, permaculture principles, and regenerative land management to support healthy, productive landscapes.

We specialize in implementing systems such as swales, edible landscapes, and custom-designed rainwater harvesting technologies. Our vision is to help communities build long-term resilience by increasing local food production, improving water retention, and restoring ecological function.

More Information

As an organization focused on urban agroforestry and climate resilience, we bring extensive experience in designing and implementing regenerative systems that strengthen food security in urban and suburban environments. Our services include climate-smart landscape design, edible landscaping, syntropic agroforestry planning, rainwater harvesting solutions, and consulting for municipal climate initiatives.

We have provided strategic consultation to Prince George’s County in Maryland as part of their Climate Action Plan, contributing insight on food systems and nature-based climate solutions. In addition, we design and install our patent-pending olla irrigation system for clients; this product will be commercially available next year and aims to improve water efficiency for edible landscapes and gardens.

Through our partnership with the Community Food Forest Collective, we co-created the first temperate syntropic agroforestry system on a college campus, supporting student food security and advancing hands-on climate resilience education. We continue to develop programs and resources that make regenerative land stewardship accessible to individuals, communities, and institutions.
